Writing a Business Book?
Once you have your business book I guarantee things will change very quickly. Here’s why.
The Best Leads: Having a book for your business WILL attract the best leads to you
Higher Positioning: You can bet none of your competition has a book. A business book positions you at a much higher level.
Speaking Engagements": Once your book is out there the speaking engagements start to arrive. Travel the world on the back of your book as the ultimate expert.
Wealth: Many authors have become rich from a single book. That could be you.
Legacy: Share your knowledge with mankind, your industry or your family. A legacy book is a powerful statement.
As someone who has written over a dozen business books, I can tell you the impact of my business books has been huge.
It’ll help you if I share a little history with you.
Many years ago I used to be a hairdresser and salon owner. I had three salons for around 20 years in total. From there, I moved into hair Salon Consultancy. My best and highest spending clients always came from my business books. Because of this I also travelled the globe all paid and have had many, many global speaking invites from those small business books.
Why I Wrote My Business Books
When I sold my final salon I was also working as an advisor and business consultant to hairdressing salons. The best way for me as a writer was to write a business book about my salon owner experiences. That is what I did.
This is a small paperback business book called, The Salon Punk. I am happy to report that it has sold in the thousands and has mostly 5-star reviews.
When I wrote that book it took me around 4-5 years to write. That’s from idea to actually writing it. The reason it took so long was I just didn’t have the time. Then we moved to Tbilisi for a very long summer of 6 months and it was then I restarted the book and finished it. Time was my issue not skills. It took around 4-months to complete.
Now this isn’t the only business book I have written but this is a good one to help you get more of an idea of how to write a business book or even hire a ghostwriter to write your business book.
Writing your business book can offer you a stack of benefits. Here are several reasons why you should consider writing a business book:
Share Expertise: Writing a business book allows you to share your knowledge and expertise in a particular industry or field. This can position you as an authority in your niche, attracting clients, speaking opportunities, and media attention.
Build Personal Brand: A well-written business book can contribute significantly to building your personal brand. It establishes you as a thought leader and can enhance your credibility and visibility within your industry.
Networking Opportunities: Being an author opens doors to networking opportunities. You may get invitations to speak at conferences, participate in panel discussions, or connect with other professionals in your field.
Generate Leads and Clients: A business book can serve as a powerful lead generation tool. Readers who find value in your book may be more inclined to seek out your services or products, turning them into potential clients or customers.
Educate and Inform: If you have unique insights or perspectives on a particular business topic, a book allows you to communicate these ideas in a structured and comprehensive manner, helping others to learn and grow in their own endeavors.
Differentiate Yourself: In competitive industries, having a published book can set you apart from your competitors. It's a tangible representation of your knowledge and commitment to your field.
Legacy Building: A book is a lasting legacy that can outlive you. It becomes a part of your professional legacy, something that future generations can refer to for insights and inspiration.
Enhance Speaking Engagements: Authors are often sought after as speakers for events and conferences. Writing a book can open doors to speaking engagements, allowing you to share your ideas with a broader audience.
Personal Growth: The process of writing a book can be a journey of personal and professional growth. It challenges you to articulate your thoughts clearly, organize ideas, and refine your communication skills.
Create Passive Income: While not guaranteed, a successful business book can generate passive income through book sales, speaking engagements, and other related opportunities.
Contribute to the Industry: A business book can contribute to the overall knowledge base of your industry. It allows you to contribute your unique perspectives and insights, potentially advancing the collective understanding of certain business concepts.
Educate Employees: If you are a business leader, writing a book can be a way to communicate your vision, values, and strategies to your team, helping to align everyone with the company's goals.
The reason I mentioned a ghostwriter is this.
Most business people like yourself (and me) are very busy. You either don’t have the time or maybe you don’t have the skills as a writer to write that business book. Yet if we don’t write the book the amount of prestige and business we miss out on can be just huge.
So let’s cover both options.
Business Book Ghostwriter
So, let’s say you’re ready to write your business book - but you don’t want to write it. Or you’re a publisher in search of a ghostwriter for hire - a good business book ghostwriter.
But your reality is you don’t have time to write your book. Maybe you just don’t want to do it? Or maybe you don’t have the writing skills needed to write a compelling, interesting and intriguing business book that everyone wants to read and no one wants to put down.
But did you know most books in high street bookshops might have a famous name on them and have usually been ghostwritten? Bestsellers - ghostwritten - famous books - ghostwritten and even famous authors have used ghostwriters - especially business books use ghostwriters.
I get that because books are stories in your head. Writing is the tool you use to get those stories out. The reality is not all of us are writers and not all of us can write a book. I can pull out a tooth, but I’m no dentist.
So, if famous ‘authors’ and best sellers go and hire a ghostwriter for their business book there is no reason you can’t do it either.
Writing Your Book and Purpose
Writing your book can serve several wonderful purposes for you and offer the most inspirational and wonderful benefits for readers. My own books positioned me as an authority and expert in the field of running hairdressing salons. My other small paperback business book - The Accidental Copywriter - set me apart from most copywriters and again positioned me as ‘the’ expert.
Here are some reasons why you should hire an expert to ghostwrite your book:

Hire a Business Book Ghostwriter, UK
Now you’re ready to get your business book out and in print. I know that through experience and meeting many of my clients who love the idea of being an author.
Over the years I have spoken to many business people that love the idea of a business book, really seem to want a business book and they all offer the same reply when asked.
“I just don’t have the time to write it.”
I like to add this.
“Not only do you not have the time you really will not have the skills”
Yet, a business book written by your own ghostwriter can literally transform your business positioning and fame - when written well.
Not too long ago a client came to me with a copy of his business book. He asked for my opinion. I could only offer the truth. The truth was this.
The book lacked almost every critical element a business book needs. Those elements are in the bullet points above.
He ignored my advice and then went and had 5000 books advance printed. Sometime later he called me in a very disappointed tone. It was then he told me that he had sold just 3 copies of his business book. His only review was 1 star.
